Privacy Notice

How we handle personal information received through this website.

Who we are

Alpha Beta Engineering Ltd operates this website and is responsible for the personal information described in this notice.

Information we collect

When you submit a project enquiry, we collect:

  • your name and email address;
  • your company name, if you choose to provide it;
  • the project type and project details you provide; and
  • any attachments you choose to upload.

How we use your information

We use enquiry information to respond to you and manage your enquiry, including assessing whether and how we can help with the proposed project.

Our lawful basis

We rely on our legitimate interests to respond to business enquiries and manage prospective client relationships. We consider this necessary and proportionate because you have chosen to contact us about our services.

Hosting, security and email

We use Cloudflare Pages and Workers to host and operate the site, Cloudflare R2 to store uploaded attachments privately, and Cloudflare Turnstile to help protect the enquiry form from abuse. We use Resend to send transactional email notifications of new enquiries.

How long we keep information

In production, uploaded attachments are automatically deleted from Cloudflare R2 after 30 days. We may retain enquiry correspondence for a reasonable business period. For unsuccessful enquiries, this is normally up to 24 months, unless project requirements or legal record-keeping obligations require a longer retention period.

Your UK data-protection rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to your personal information, ask for it to be corrected or erased, and restrict or object to its processing.

Your right to object: because we rely on legitimate interests for enquiry processing, you can object to this use of your personal information. We will consider your objection in accordance with applicable data-protection law.

You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Information about making a complaint is available on the ICO website.
